There are so many games that you can incorporate with the various jumping techniques.
This makes the entire process entertaining thus, kids will always love to be associated with trampolines.
As a parent, you need to be creative to come up with something that is unique, entertaining and appealing to the kids.
This will make your kid to enjoy the other benefits trampolines offer such as improving body coordination and balance, besides, being the best way to do a low impact and high aerobic exercise.
For a longtime, I have always thought of the various fan activities we can have as a family on our outdoor trampoline.
There’s one simple rule that has always guaranteed success in everything that I do – going for only those activities that my kids crave for.
Today, I want to share with you a number of activities that I feel are effective and can easily be incorporated in various trampoline jumping techniques.
A Dance Party
Kids love music and they tend to respond to all types of music beats.
Why don’t you think of a music party?
It is one of the simplest fun activity you can easily incorporate to the regular trampoline sessions for kids.
Can you imagine the kids dancing as they spring back and forth?
This can be very entertaining.
You must go for the music that your kids love, may be opting for those songs they sing while in school can be a better option.
The dance until you drop is also another game that you can also introduce.
It is another way to make your kids unwind after a long time in school.
Using Jumping Ropes
You can tie stretchy jumping ropes on the two sides of the trampoline.
Let the kid jump on either sides of the rope as much as they wish to.
Since trampoline mat will exert an upward thrust, the rope should be low enough such that, the child will not be forced to jump too high.
The greater the height, the larger the upward force.
A larger upward force may make the child go off the trampoline mat hence, a high chance of getting injured.
In case you can’t afford a jumping rope, you can draw a hopscotch using a sidewalk chalk.
Let the trampoline users’ jump across it in turns. This is also entertaining.
Playing basketball
There are a number of trampoline basketball hoops available in the market.
They are designed such that you can hook them on one edge of the trampoline enclosure.
This will most definitely add a new dimension of fun to your trampoline.
The trampoline users will bounce back and forth as they enjoy playing basketball.
Play Ball
You can get a lightweight ball, place it at the center of the trampoline mat.
Let the kids jump around the ball while trying to keep it as close as possible to the center of the trampoline mat.
To make this outdoor trampoline game more entertaining, you should come up away to reward kids who meet this simple objective.
The quick quiz games
This is a perfect choice for kids who can learn while on the outdoor as opposed to classrooms.
It is a simple game that provides both knowledge and enjoyment.
You need to be creative to come up with simple questions that kids can answer.
The best way to go about this is to ask a general question and a kid who gets the right answer jumps on the trampoline.
Alternatively, you can write answers on the trampoline mat, then you ask questions. The kids should then jump on the right answer.
Another game that is closely related to this is let’s learn alphabets. You can write the alphabets randomly on the trampoline.
Whenever you mention a specific letter then the child should jump of the exact section where the letter is.
When you opt for this game, write the letters close to the center of the trampoline.
Conclusion
In summary, as I stated earlier, creativity is paramount when it comes to choosing the trampoline games.
You need to “invent” games. Just come up with a simple game that your child has never seen before.
It is one of the best ways to make your child enjoy the outdoor trampoline activities.
